The Austin State Hospital medical complex features several buildings that Climate Solutions serves. While Building 801 is a state-of-the-art new-build medical facility, we also handle the HVAC and plumbing maintenance for the rest of the facility, which has buildings varying in age. Recognized by the National Register of Historic Places, Austin State Hospital benefits from our HVAC maintenance program that keeps the new building running at peak efficiency, while our plumbing services keep the rest of the campus operational.
As part of our partnership with the hospital, we work with A&G Electric to perform IR Scans as part of the medical facility’s annual electrical maintenance. Like many older buildings we service, the age of some of the ones on campus, as well as the shifting ground found in Central Texas, present unique challenges – especially when it comes to repairing underground pipe and valve damage. We regularly collaborate with our client, reactively and proactively, to minimize damage caused by these factors.
